Built Up Felt Roofs

The three layer traditional, built-up felt roofs, whilst now being overtaken by the higher performing Glass Fibre (“Topseal”) and Single Ply (“Rhepanol”) roofs, can and still does offer a cost effective solution to many flat roof applications, where longevity or high impact resistance are not the main criteria.

Whilst we no longer use the older “rag based “ felt, we still offer either the “Elastomeric” or polyester re-enforced bitumen roofs, which are installed by our experienced workforce to the manufacturers’ recommendations and fully bonded with hot bitumen, with the finish being either white stonechippings or mineral coated felt.
