Industrial Roofing and Cladding

Industrial RoofsProfiled Sheeting, available in an array of different profiles, colours and surface textures, offer competitive solutions to large industrial and commercial properties. Generally “ New-builds” will incorporate a lightweight lining sheet with a foam filled core giving the required “U” value to meet current building regulations. Flashings to eaves;  ridge; verges and valley details are usually formed from identical material as the sheets, giving a uniform appearance.

Industrial CladdingThe general fixing method for sheeting relies on a variety of steel, “self-drilling” fixings with “rubber” washers & colour coded caps.

Laps are generally sealed and secured with “stitching” screws to prevent ingress of water and wind damage.

Low pitches can be achieved with the use of “ secret-fix” systems.

Cladding SheetsRoof-lights , generally formed from a factory sealed , G.R.P or acrylic, double skin panel, allow natural light into the property, reducing  the need for artificial lighting and reducing energy consumption .

Protrusions and awkward details can be incorporated with the “Sealoflex” system, outlined on the “Sealoflex” page

ConstructionOlder , failing industrial roofs, can be either “covered” with a new support grid and an additional layer of sheeting or coated with a “ Sealoflex” type product..  Both systems generally allow the building to remain occupied during the progress of the work. This gives the roof a new lease of life without the substantial cost and inconvenience of re-roofing.
